Generally, acute pain can be resolved within 3 – 4 visits or 1 – 2 weeks with our amazing staff. Depending on the severity of the condition, treatment programs may be up to 4 – 6 weeks, depending on the individual condition.
Will my Insurance cover my treatment ?
Yes, most extended healthcare plans will cover therapy treatment entirely. Please speak to our friendly staff to assist you in determining your coverage.
What are my payment options ?
We bill directly to most insurance companies on your behalf when possible. We accept debit/interact, visa, MasterCard, cash, or cheque.
Do I need a referral to see a physiotherapist ?
Usually no. Physiotherapists in Ontario are regulated by the Regulated Health Professions Act (RHPA). They are primary care practitioners, meaning they don’t need a referral. Patients can go directly to a physiotherapist of their own accord. However, sometimes a referral is required from your extended insurance policy. Please check if this is needed.
What will I have to do after physical therapy ?
Some patients will need to continue with home exercises. Some may choose to continue with a gym exercise program. Others will complete their rehabilitation and return to normal daily activities. It is important that you communicate your goals to your therapist, so he/she can develop a custom program for you.
